Days Exploring Nature (DEN) Summer 2024 Program

The Days Exploring Nature (DEN) Summer Program facilitates a kind and safe community for children ages 6-12 to enjoy exploring nature 5 days a week within 2 week sessions to cultivate community, friendships, and joy in learning!

Drop Off & Pick Up

Drop off will be at 9:30 and pick up will be at 2:30 in the Alvarado Staging Area at Wildcat Canyon in Richmond. Parents must park to sign their children in and out. Any dogs must be kept on leash.

Tentative Daily Schedule

9:30 Parents park, check in, and drop off

9:45 Morning Meeting/Greetings/Community Building Game/ Bathroom

10:15 Hike: Explore and appreciate Wildcat Creek Trail to Bonita Trail to Monte Cresta Trail or Wildcat Creek Trail to Belgum Trail or Wildcat Creek Trail to Mezue Trail or Leonards Trail

10:30/45 Snack

10:50 Community Game &/or Explorations

11:00 Sit or Walking Spot & Nature Journaling Art (drawing and coloring-optional)

11:30 Hike

12:00 Lunch

12:30 Free Time, Choice, Games, Reading

1:00 Hike, Return to Alvarado Area for bathrooms

1:30 Community Game and/or Explorations

2:00 Roses, Buds, and Thorns

2:30 Parents park, check out, and pick up

COMMITMENT

The DEN Program has a two week commitment for each session offered. After the two week commitment, families may withdraw from additional sessions at any time, for any reason, with 2 weeks written notice via the DEN cancellation request form, although there are no refunds.

Session 1: July 8th-19th

Session 2: July 22nd-August 2nd

Session 3: August 5th-August 16th

DEN Payment Pricing

Seeds of Love Collective offers three payment plan choices. For the Summer 2024 program, Seeds of Love Collective is thrilled to offer a discount on advance payment of sessions with a three session commitment incentive. Review the payment plan options below.  

2 PAYMENTS PLAN (5% Discount)

The two payments plan divides the payments into one payment for July and one payment for August. Please note that no refunds of paid tuition are provided if a family withdraws from DEN prior to the end of the three sessions.

1 PAYMENT PLAN (10% Discount)

The one payment plan requires payment of all three sessions (minus a 10% discount) in one payment on July 1st. Please note that no refunds of paid tuition are provided if a family withdraws from DEN prior to the end of the three sessions.

Sibling Discounts

Sibling discounts are applied automatically to the least expensive plan for children in the same household as follows:

First Child: Full Tuition

Second + Child: 5% Discount

Enrollment Fee

A non-refundable $400 enrollment fee will be due 15 days after the submission of the enrollment form. It will be applied to your payment plan of choice.

Payment Pricing Plans

1 payment  (10% discount) All 3 sessions: $2,160 due July 1st

2 payment (5% discount) All 3 sessions: $1,140 due July 1st and $1,140 due August 1st

Session 1: July 8th-19th $800 due July 1st

Session 2: July 22nd-August 2nd $800 due July 1st

Session 3: August 5th-August 16th $800 due August 1st

REFUNDS

Due to Program's Open Door Policy, Parents are charged the session or monthly payment fee regardless of Student attendance. As such, no credits, prorated discounts, makeup days, or refunds are provided for sick days, vacation days, half-days, or other missed days.
